Akakiko Restaurant-E. GmbH, with
headquarters in Vienna, Austria, was founded in 1994. Within a few years,
we have become the largest Asian-food restaurant chain in Austria. We have
11 company-owned restaurants, a staff of 200, and well over a million
customers annually.
Akakiko is a Japanese easy dining
concept, which can be operated also more upscale, as a fine dining
restaurant. It is characterised by a high quality of food, in turn brought
about by a focus on absolute freshness of ingredients. About half the
dishes consist of Sushi and Sashimi and the other half of various warm
dishes, such as the highly popular Bento Lunch Boxes. It is due to the
high food quality mentioned that the concept can also be operated as a
fine dining restaurant. Akakiko has an interior design emphasizing
freshness developed by Greek architect Michael Mavroleon.
Since 2004, we are offering
Akakiko for
franchising. Two franchised restaurants are in operation to date, run by
Louis Group of Cyprus, the largest tourism organization in the Eastern
Mediterranean. Of these, one is located in Nicosia and one in Limassol.
Our
strength as franchisor is the
individual care we offer to each and every franchisee. We offer up to 9
weeks training in one of our restaurants. In addition, we send an opening
team which stays one week prior to and 4 weeks after a franchisee
restaurant opening. We regularly visit franchised restaurants and provide
owners with detailed reports. Your success is our ambition!
